little puss is waiting for the birdies to appear
i'm afraid she'll have no luck with Owly stuck up here.
Their both on the lookout for a tasty birdie treat
they will sit there all day long in the Summer heat.
Perhaps if they are lucky a bird will come along
and sing them a melody in a birdie song
but I think he'd better change his little mind
and go elsewhere instead of here where preditors have dined.
