They do so well for me. They are such a pleasure. The first pink one is the last 4 flowers on the one that has now been flowering for 6 months.

Lovely Homebird. We have two different orchids and they have flowered for 6 months. I feed them every two months and give them rainwater from the butt, let them soak for a while then tip out the remainder from the bottom of the dish. I give them fresh orchid compost every year and once the flowers have finished making sure that the arial roots still stick out. I cut the stem back to a shoot cutting just above where the shoot is.

In the winter the orchids go on to the kitchen window sill where they get the sun for some of the day then in the spring they go into the bedroom on to the northwest facing window where they only get a short burst of sunshine.
