Thanks Alan.....my OHs work.....one of our better achievement's.... HB those are our tree ferns old branches, they will die off and new ones will take their place..glad you like it, starting to mature now.

Angela, didn't realise the path was concrete! Good likeness to railway sleepers. Presumably you buy them as a paving/patio slab ?

Lovely view down the pathway. My stepping stones taken from the fallen trees in the wood are very slippery and dangerous in the cold weather - I think I will have to copy you and replace them with something safer.

Alan they are bought as sleepers to use the way we have done, or to build walls, using special uprights, two colours to choose from, they can be put down as a patio, but the effect is not brilliant...
Gee these are just the ticket then, that is why we did not use traditional sleepers, far too dangerous...

I've been looking for cut-down sleepers, as wooden blocks, to build walls and raised beds with, no luck so far, these look very good
