Wow! That's a long stem.

My back yard pineapple produced a nice sweet fruit in the middle of December. The variety was called 'Super Sweet'.

That is neat to grow pineapple in the yard.

I have grown them in the past. Even though the pineapples don't grow as large as the commercially grown ones they have a nice sweet taste.

Never thought of that- great idea.

Pineapples plants are very easy to grow. They do like to be fertilized to get a good-sized pineapple, though.
