Karen, I have one in sun and one in semi-shade, but they're both at the same stage. Great little plant!

I'm trying to grow seeds from last year but no sign of anything yet I'd like to have more , mine has sun in the morning shade in the afternoon !

Hope you do have success with your seed Amy, as they're £3 from Chiltern Seeds! Also (just Googled it) they're sold by "Plants for Shade" . . . no wonder we get confused :))
