Sorry Amy, but I don't think this is T. grandiflorum. That plant has white, or occasionally pink, flowers but never deep maroon.

Thanks all , David I think I knew I'd named it wrongly but didn't have time to look it up ,I'm not sure if its T.Sessile or maybe Kurabayashii any help gratefully received with it Thanks :o))

It looks more like T. sessile from the leaves.
