I love seeing these in the garden but they don't often sit still!

Such tiny tiny little feathered creatures. Only about 2 brief climpses of a little flock in our garden ever. We once stopped at a country pub carpark in Wiltshire. They were in a hedge near the car. You are right Gee never stopped twiiting at one another and moving about.

They seem to enjoy the fat balls more than anything - such pretty little things (the tits not the balls)!

We have the Long tailed tits here too and they are so active that they don't stay for long.

Fran, I have a photo of one of these and it looks like a flying shuttlecock :)

I really need to get a tripod for my binoculars (too heavy for me to hold up for long) or set up a webcam by the feeder.
