This is what I really really want for my golden border. I've seen it on a couple of websites, but am yet to order as I keep hoping I will find a good sized one locally, but no luck so far. I might have to bite the bullet and buy one online. Someone gave me a baby one last year but I think it has been 'absorbed' in to the ground. Also, neither of the Peonies that I planted in the pod garden have survived the winter. It's terribly disappointing. I never know whether to try again or give up. Tree peonies seem to do better for me generally.

Burncoose have fairly large plants at £15-50 + car
only comment I would make about them lovely for 10 days then gone, the rest of the year spent reaching for the heavens they grow fast once established.

Charlie Dimmock was on a TV gardening programme, about different sorts of Peonies the other day, telling everyone how good they are to grow in your garden. This tree peony is lovely.

Lindak it is nice but needs a fair bit of room, back of the border where you don't mind shading a few things and of course like all peonies they only last a short while, one advantage of this one you have a succession of flowers as it is multi headed. can be pruned to keep under control average height 8 ft.

Not for my little garden then Bjs. My neighbour has given me a Wisteria seedling. Now if that grows, I am going to try to grow it in a pot and train it up the car port. Success or failure, I don't know but I'm having a go.
