Love these (mine is still in the greenhouse!).

Even in the South, my brown Libertia is pathetically small, unlike its green leaved relative.

Thanks ladies, they have done well this year for me...

Going to have to move my plant, it has been pathetic for long enough! Could put it in the front, a more open position and sunnier. Spring stated as lifting/dividing time! Too late now?

Go for it Siris . . . not too late.

Will mark it, maybe do tomorrow, if time.

Siris they key is out and in as quickly as possible, ours don't even know they have been moved lol and the rain will help!
Karen we can grow this but not the Japanese blood grass, unless it is grown in a pot!

Dd, I grew ( still do) Imperata cylindrica 'Rubra' in the border with success, but Mother's visiting cat liked to eat it.

Dd/Siris, I grow Imperata in a stony bed so that I don't 'lose' it in winter, but the Muntjac deer likes it too, so many of the tops are bitten off :((

I love this...but I think I'm too far north. Never mind, I have uncinia and it will need to be good enough. Even its not really fully hardy.
