I have had several Solanums, white and blue ones. They can grow almost tree like and then die without warning. I now accept they may not be fully hardy. Is this one a conservatory plant which will need to be sheltered in winter or will it survive outdoors. I do like the flowers.

It says on the label that its not fully hardy so will spend winter in the g'house, saying that my son had one for years that was in the ground and actually had to get rid of it as it took over and was swamping everything else....

It is very pretty. I expect you'll need a huge pot for it.
