Passiflora caerlea .. White lightening

I love these flowers. Mine hasn't any just yet.

Waddy this only had a couple of flowers last year its making up for it this year its covered in buds and blooms :o)

I had to cut mine right down last year due to a new fence. This year it has buds,but nowhere near as many and they're still quite small. Like so many things it's behind.

Beautiful, had to stop growing this, took over the garden......

I expect it will grow up again next year Waddy , Angela I'm not surprised to hear you say that as this was new last year and is already covering half the front top of the large double garage I wouldn't be at all surprised if it didn't start going over the roof next !

Lovely picture Amy; I grew this many years ago, and remember the powerful scent; I see that the pollen-beetles are having a good "sniff around" on your flower!

The Sorbaria you gave me is growing well in a pot on the patio, and the four flower-heads are starting to show colour. The foliage and flowers look so much like Astilbe; are they related?

Yes we have loads of pollen beetle David we use to call them thunder bugs :o) I'm glad your 'Sem' has taken well I don't think they are related to the Astilbe but you are right they do look very much like the blooms , I'm sending you PM !

My Passion flower seeds itself all over the place, got to keep on top of pulling out the seedlings, or they would take over.
