Chequered swallowtail, lime butterfly......

It's Butterfly count week where you record butterflies to the society. This is a special one. I shall try and record a few of what I see this week. Not many so far.

Oh how wonderful Angela..aren't you the lucky one?this is so lovely..did you see in the paper recently.that the Monarchs were off course around the time you had one in your Conservatory?It is quite a rare event for them to be here..

Lovely variety ... there is a distinct lack of Butterflies around here this year :o(

Lots of small brown ones in my garden.

Saw two Cabbage Whites and a Red Admiral today ... they must have heard me saying there are very few Butterflies around!

Lucky you, your conversatory must seem like home to them :)

We had another one fly in today, unfortunately it had a damaged wing, but it was coping quite well!!
We get more in the conservatory than actually in the garden.......

First warm place after the continent.

It's beautiful! I have a lot of these butterflies along with so many June bugs flying around my garden now.
