Thanks ladies. Parts are still a bit bare but its coming along. Hi Sheila, that tree is Prunus cerasifera nigra. The advantage being it has really early blossom. The tall trees left back are Janet and Peter's.

Thanks Dawn . . . I did wonder! I put in a Prunus cerasifera nigra last year - so now I know how tall it can grow :)

I have that prunus too Dawn, mines called Trailblazer,have you tried the plums? they are gorgeous.

Hi Sheila, the prunus does grow pretty fast. Hi Kathy, I've never had plums - hmmm I will await them.
