My OH like the smell of it too Paul but does not like smell of rosemary. I am the opposite.
Lots of bees (and wasps) around Katarina. I have many plants they like.

I am exactly the same.Rosemary actually makes me feel a little nauseous. I am very sensitive to many smell, foods, fumes etc.

Bronze fennel doesn't usually grow particularly big. Not as big as the green one.

This one is there for a couple of years and is about 7 ft tall. I remember Hywel had to move one because of its size in his garden. Now I wonder how big the green one grows.
Thank you for your comments everybody.

I know they can grow very tall here in California even in very dry soil.

They spring up in my garden all over the place & attract hover flies & goldfinches like the seeds.
Homebird, best to grow from seed, long tap root means they don't like being moved.
