Thursday visitor

oh she is so lovely :O) what a gorgeous smile. I am back on duty when school starts the first week in September, so looking forward to it even if I am cream crackered at the end of the week. lol but it will be just two days as Sarah is only doing part time when they start back. :O)

One day a week suits me just fine! It comes round so quickly, though, these days!

They are lovely days, Wildrose. I have a lovely time - she is such a little character, and so good. Things will liven up soon I'm sure! She is just beginning to take her first independent steps - we have barriers and gates all over the place!

I'm definitely not ready for this yet! The thought of it exhausts me, let alone the reality!! But she's gorgeous, really lovely. You must be ever so proud:))

How lovely she is & how lucky you are to be getting to know each other. Those first steps are just magical to witness.

She's so cute Mel ! We use to have ours on a Friday when they were young ! We still have our 10 year old to stay over every other weekend , but as she will soon be 11 , it won't be long before she wants to do other things like our eldest ! Make the most of these days ! They are so precious !

Thanks for all your comments. I love having her here and we have a great time together. Every week brings some new development. She is really happy with us now and is completely at home here. So far we haven't had tears once since she started coming at the beginning of April. All that to look forward to when she grows up a bit! I just love her to bits. We are all off on holiday together soon, with daughter, s-i-l and grandson, too. Son No1 and fiancee can't make it because of work, but it'll be a busy week one way and another!

Well, Cromarty, just NE of Inverness. The forecast's not too clever, so just how much time will be spent on the beach remains to be seen!

Ah - well, the perfect excuse for some of that warming whisky maybe?!

A bit of beach time AND the warming whisky went down very well. We had a lovely week, and though the weather was a bit mixed, it was reasonably kind to us and didn't stop us doing anything we wanted to. I am already getting withdrawal symptoms (beach, not whisky!)
