Yes I saw your Blog Shirley lucky you I'm well into grasses at the moment you have so much year round value , we had a visitor today who instantly pointed this one out , thanks Angela it looks blacker at certain angles than it does on here ....

This one will be a beauty Amy! Aren't they great all year round? One lesson I've learnt though, my gorgeous Hakonechloa which I split in the spring, did not like it one bit, only two pieces survived and they're very small, it was so cramped in it's tub but spectacular! It is a deciduous one though, so maybe that has something to do with it?

Lovely ... Amy, we visited Sussex Prairie Garden this afternoon and saw some fabulous grasses ... well worth a visit.
