Rose they are standard Hawthorns.... thank you both, I feel happier with the design now, although the lawn needs some attention!!

Siris the 3 Hawthorns are lollypoped !! the obelisks have been cut down! to use in the rose border with the clematis....

Thats really sweet of you HB I would swop you any day, I love your garden with all those different levels, and the size would suit us, although with my dodgy knees I might just find it a tad difficult!! so I will admire yours and you can admire ours lol
