We've had a caravan ever since we inherited our daughters dog years ago I didn't like putting him in kennels he has since gone to the doggy hunting grounds but we still love going away in the van we almost always take it to France in the summer but haven't this year Tony hasn't been very well also the trouble at the ports put us off , our friends have found a site in France where they are going to store their van that way they will go over whenever they have the time , one of our favourite places on this coast is Incleboro Fields ,West Runton , its not far from Sheringham where they have a nice market on a Saturday plus the steam trains ... ...

Lovely that you have been able to get out and about with the good weather we've had. Best to make the most of it as the winter will soon be upon us.

Don't forget H/B to give a wave when you are passing a horse drawn caravan , it might be me. I always have a couple of piebald pony's trotting behind the caravan, you are welcome to borrow.

Is that really yours JJ ,do you live in it ? we love Ireland and have had a couple of holidays and would like to have another one especially since finding out my family on my mothers side came from Ireland , one of my nicest memories from our last holiday was the horse and carts trotting down the roads over the hills with that clip clopping sound as they went ... :o))

We love Ireland too and have been there for several holidays. I used to go riding a lot JJ and looked after a horse for a while. I did a bit of driving and learned about the different sorts of harness. One a breast harness that fitted in front and around the horse and the other a stuffed harness that had to go over the head and neck then be placed there, the gear that got attached to the cart etc. I learned how to clean it all as well. I drove 3 different ponies and they were all different to drive too. Great experience.

B/A, a bucket of you know what and you will have roses as big as sunflowers. It's pity the ferry is so expensive you would really enjoy a trip around this green island of ours, fingers x maybe some day you will make it.

Lindak, if your nice to B/A she could take you in her motorhome and you could teach her how to put on harness and saddle and have a nice gentle trot across the country side.

Amy, you could come with B/A and Lindak as well the motorhome has plenty of room and I could link up with ye with my horse drawn caravan and 2 piebald pony's Nelly and Billy.

Sounds like a lot of fun girls & boys I'll bring a bottle , we found it was cheaper to book a nice farm cottage Sheila the people are so friendly they even left us home baked bread and cake on our arrival , I'm not a horsey person my Husbands sister use to ride Point-to Point our children did riding lesson I'd much rather have my feet on the ground !

I'd have a job doing most things at the moment, I'm slowly becoming bionic.......Sounds like a lovely relaxing holiday though JJ. We've been to Dublin, the Ring of Kerry, Killarney, Cork, Cliffs of Mo....Giant's Causeway, Belfast, and lots of other places. Ireland is a lovely place to visit.
