thanks everyone, I said that no ladybird is pink and purple but was overruled by her mum and had to go with the theme of the party, which was pink and purple. lol. Lottie loves ladybirds she has windmill ladybirds, garden plant support ladybirds and a huge floor cushion ladybird, which she kisses every time she comes over to ours. Just hope next summer there will be some real ones in our garden to show her, she will be fascinated I am sure.

I find it hard to believe that she's already 1 year old, Barbara! I expect you do, too ?

I know Melchi and the time is just flying past me, everyone at the party said the same. Time is going so fast, she is walking, nearly running well faster than I can go lol. Fast asleep just now so I have managed to get the dinner prepared for this evening and some leaves swept off the pathway. Yay!!!!!!!

My granddaughter is 19 months now, nearly talking and is so much fun when she's here on Thursdays. But I find it hard to believe she's been coming here for 7 months - it'll be schooldays before I know it. I savour every minute. Well, almost - I'm quite glad when she has her nap!!!

Same here Melchi, it is quite exhausting looking after babies, but would not choose anything else, she is a little star. They called in last night along with a uni friend of Sarah's who had a baby girl just before Lottie was born. It was great fun watching them both together, playing and scoffing Jaffa cakes. lol. They had been out all day in Lincoln and visited the Christmas market there so were quite exhausted from their antics. Still had enough energy though to run around and cause mayhem lol. what an evening. lol. but that is the best thing about grandchildren you can hand them back and breath a sigh and get your feet up when they have gone back home. lol.

Absolutely right ?!

I said to myself, that could not be a cake! It's got to be a toy. But it is and it's so realistic. My granddaughter and I struggled over one, and it was not successful like yours. I am glad you took a picture of it. Well done!
