It is one of the last, and one of the first to flower. Also a fast multiplier.

You end the year with such splendour and you will begin 2016 the same, never a end to the beauties in your garden!

Thanks! Today is the big day - I put the 2015 seeds in water to begin the whole germination process. They can start in just 3 days, so I am busy, again. I ordered my spring delivery plants yesterday. 2 of them are Jane Trimmer intros: 'Jane's Pink and Blue' and 'Solar Blue Angel'. I already have her 'Dragonfly Dawn' and 'Dragonfly Tattoo', which look just as good as their photos. So if they bloom in 2016, there should be some great crosses.

I only have 3 seeds to plant lol which went into the fridge Monday.
Look forward to see what you get as you have had some stunners in 2015.

I am aiming for large patterns with an edge or teeth. Horns & Thorns, along with Sad Sack from last year should be good for the teeth. I want to put an edge on some of the plainer patterns.

Oh, that is beautiful. I love the raindrops too. It is just stunning. Daylilies just seem to fascinate forever,

I must say Wylie 'Bird Talk' is one I've admired in a daylily book I have, but after googling these 'Four Eyes' is out of this world !! , can't wait to see your pictures when all these lovely newbies flower :-)

Did you notice than 'Four Eyes' is registered as being poly 60%! That should make a really special sight. I am getting 'Bird Talk' to help with edges on patterns. Hopefully the new plants will bloom this year (late) so I can start using them.
Wells: I am mixed on the raindrops. This has been a very wet winter so far, and with Hurricaine Alex coming through today, I wish it would dry out before the next storm. Since daylilies bloom so quickly from seed for me, it is like having a new garden every year.

I hadn't but just had another look on Art Gallery Gardens and found a poly picture of it WOW!!
I see its a Lambertson too Blue Eyed Butterfly was one of my absolute favourites till I saw 'Four Eyes'!!, love the shape of the eye, the way it shoots off into the petals, very appealing :-),

The hurricane was a bust. Now that Alex is well past us, the rain finally stopped, but the wind is a little stronger - normal for winter.
You should take a look at his 'Thai Temple' and notice the pollen parent. That should give you some ideas for 'Get Jiggy' :)

Oh Wow!! didn't think it could get better than 'Four Eyes'!! but love the pencil edging round the eye of 'Thai Temple' stunning.........., can see 'Get Jiggy' was a good buy :-)
