Setting of our rental house in Mexico

At the sunset. Mountains in front of me and lake behind me. It looks like it is in middle of nowhere but there is a very busy village "next door". The house is huge inside which is not apparent from this view. It has 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The living/dinig room area is at least 30x30 feet but the kitchen is tiny. I think that the wealthy Mexicans do not cook themselves. There is a servants wing here but we do not use them very often .The gentleman is a gardener and his wife comes ones a week to clean bathrooms, sweep the floors and do light housekeeping. No cooking or laundry. Our landlady inherited this and they are using it as a weekend house in summer. She must have come from a large family. Size is overkill for 2 of us but the rent price is reasonable and we are enjoying the Mexican authenticity.
I did a short blog on it in last March.
So, plenty of room for all visitors.

We're having lots of mild rain here but I don't mind it.

I have a perfect bed for you Hywel and I am buying a cactus to embellish your night table :-) or maybe we put your bed by a large cactus??
So far I did not see any fuchsias here.

Oh Wow,Klahanie..a stunning backdrop to your winter home..How many bedrooms did you say you had? so,that's one for Hywel..possibly,H.bird,and as no one else has made a Reservation yet.,..one for me? I'm glad you are in a happier place now :o) xx
