Oh now that is gorgeous! Is this the kingfisher river Greenfingers?

I'm afraid I don't know, although there is loads of wildlife around the Helford estuary and it looks a perfect setting I didn't see any. (wish I was there now!)

I was wondering if it was the river in the Halcyon River Diaries that was on the television a few years ago, with Philipa Forrester and her cameraman husband. All about a river in the West Country and the wildlife there, with fantastic coverage of the Kingfishers that lived up river....

I think the river in the Halcyon river diaries is the river Boyd at Bitton (which is near Bath)

Oh, I always imagined them living on the Helford...thanks for that though.....
