Very nice Bathgate. We have ornamental cabbages here, these look similar but not the same. Yours are more "frilly".

I eat kale all the time. It's good with olive oil and butter cooked just slightly.

That sounds tasty. I tried duplicating the kale salad they have at Chick -Fil A with maple dressing, dried cherries & walnuts - yummy!

I've never been to Chick-Fil A. I know there's one or two here in San Diego. The maple dressing and dried cherries sounds good; however, I'm allergic to walnuts.

I'm sorry about your allergy, Delonix1. If you google "Kale salad at Chick Fil-A" you'll get the recipe and picture. Of course you can omit the walnuts, or substitute with sunflower seeds or anything that will give a little 'crunch.'
