I also thought they were neat, Janey. Some of the "cloudscapes" can be quite picturesque.

Stan, our gardener (who lives on the property) often venture in the lake with a net. He just walks in up to his waste , spreads his netting and comes up with half a bucket of fish. All the same kind... Tilapia I believe but sometime also a bigger carp.
Village people fish on the lake but I would not eat it. The waters of Lake Chapala are polluted by municipal, industrial and agricultural wastes, coming primarily from the upstream of Lerma River.

Even though San Francisco bay water quality has vastly improved since I was a kid Klahanie, the guidelines are still "no more then two fish a week". Mercury from the Gold mining days and pesticides from agri still are there..in the mud,the water and in the fish.

I wonder sometimes about the source of our food Stan.
Janey, there is something very special about sport fishing. I know few people on the Island who like it too.
We live by the ocean and I see someone throwing line in the water all the time. How old is Lexie?
