Looks just like mine. The flowers leak a lot of "juice". I have tried to start some of the other types, but they are very hard to germinate.

Is the fruit of these used for human consumption Wylie?
I think they use the leaves as a liner for some storage pits here.

I had to Google Strelitzia fruit, because I haven't heard of any one using it. It is just a dried pod full of seeds.
I do know the orange fluffy bit attached has to be removed because it has something that will prevent germination. Then nick and soak for a couple of days, changing the water every day. Then it is sown in heat for about a month.
