Clematis 'Polish Spirit'

Hi Shirley.. nice one... added to GoYpedia :o)

I've never grown Sylvia Shirley, but Polish Spirit is a fantastic plant. :)

We have this one on our allotment climbing up the shed and it was just a spindly thing when we bought it ( quite cheap too ) and it romped away all summer and was still flowering before Christmas !

Janey, it IS a viticella and flowers from mid Summer to late Autumn. I have just bought a set of 3 obelisks, using my Christmas garden centre vouchers, so this has something to climb on already!

Amy, I went to a couple of garden centres that are part of 'The Garden Centre Group', one trades as a Wyevale. Hope that helps!
