It's Christmas again for us seeing this Klahanie, the only time we see Poinsettia here. A lot smaller too.

It is a popular garden plant around here Thorneyside. This is considered small. Some look like trees. I have seen some with fancy double bracts nearby that I have never seen back home . I will post.

They grew as trees along the roadside in Tenerife too Klahanie and the red bracts went on for months.

Ah- so cool. That's like the wild type. Look at those Holly like leafs.

They bloomed when we arrived in November and are still blooming beautifully. I know they cut them down sometime in March.
This one has little different leaves and very simple bracts.

My variegated died in the late December cold. But!,the first few days I had it the cat knocked it over and broke two stems. At the time I thought- bad luck. You know- why me? lol. But I put the two stems in a cup of water.
Right now those two stems are about ready to root.
Funny how life can be.

It looks good! They bloom for a long time...or I should say the bracts last a long time.
