Yes, beautiful bird! It must be a male, as the females are light yellow. Every year Orioles nest in my banana plants (under the leaves).

Have you seen his nest? Oriole nests are usually long and hang down.

I have not seen their nest Delonix1, and the one in your picture is amazing. We have at least 4 kinds of orioles in the yard. They will miss us because we feed them. My OH is a bird "expert" in our family and he knows all the species. I do not know.

It's funny sometimes the nest can be close by; however, you won't see them because how they hide them under leaves and in trees.

The Orioles here won't nest here until at least April in San Diego.
