Beautiful day in the garden, spring has definitely sprung!

wow! That looks inviting. Can I come over? We are still brown and snow for the next two days. Not a big storm, but no sun for a few days. Lucky you, love the setting.

It looks lovely and springlike, Barbara! I have had a lovely afternoon in the garden. I am determined to get on top of everything this year - last year wasn't too good, gardening-wise. I am hoping that tomorrow will be another good session. It is such a joy to see the daffodils coming out and I can see lots of tulips developing buds. Lovely!

Melchi its my favourite time of year I would love it if it stayed like spring all year around, I would not complain well I don't think I would lol :O)

I was thinking of you today, Barbara. I tackled a horrendous job. (To my shame, it would not be so horrendous if I just did it every year). There is a narrow space between the back of the greenhouse and the house wall. Growing on the wall there is a Boston Ivy, so you know what that means! I finally wormed my way in there today, armed with a spade and steel brush and trowel and gradually removed 6 tubs of leaves, leaf mould (ie mud) and roots. It took three hours, but am I proud of myself! At one end of the gap there are the back steps, complete with handrail, which I have to duck under to get access. At the other end is the drain from the bath and shower, up against the steps from the French window. After my efforts, the jeans went straight into the w/m, and I went straight into the bath! After that, the rest of the weeding and clearing is going to be a breeze! And I have vowed never to leave it so long again!

Oh shucks, Barbara - thanks! It's quite true, though - tackling a job like that makes one feel anything is achievable!
