Flowers have tissue-paper thin appearance,
lasting only a day or two, but the plant produces such a great number of buds that they are continuously opening.
It's not as cold-hardy as some rockroses. It likes lots of sun and rarely needs watering.

These are wider than taller Dawnsaunt. Mine are 2.5 ft high and 3ft wide. I have also one called Rockrose 'Grayswood Pink' and that is little lower. Almost could be a ground cover. Exactly same flowers. They are such lovely plants. They bloom their hearts out. I also bought one which has much smaller flowers but lost the tag so do not know it's name. I strongly recommend them. They are not fussy at all. They are several other specimens but I like these 2 the most. Although, it comes to a personal taste and preference.

There was a pretty pink established one here that I had to move, sadly it didn't recover but I remember the flowers were so numerous & like satin tissue paper. The flowers only opened when the sun was shining.

Shame GF, but sometime plants have to be moved.
Klahanie, I appreciate your advice, I agree they are lovely. I like the pink flowering ones too, I will look into Silver Pink and Grayswood Pink. On the wish list they go :-)

I am sorry to hear that your plant did not survived the move. Green_finger.
I am sure that you will love it Dawnsaunt. It is kind of plant your property (and mine) is asking for.

Beautiful. How big is it Klahanie? I think I saw this in the grounds at work today and thought how nice it was. I was surpirsed as the shrub was around 1 metre wide by 1 metre high, the flowers were just like yours.
