Hosta "Sea Octopus" (Hosta)

The flowers of Hosta Sea Octopus are held well above the pale green foliage on scapes flecked with red. I bought this from Apple Court Nursery, maybe 20+ years ago.

Homebird, the plant including the flowers didn't fit into a photo easily, hence the top and bottom collage, which enabled me to crop most of the slug damage which is on the right. Favourite with me and slugs.
Dd, Apple Court was run by Diana Grenfell, who specialised in Daylilies and Hostas. Don't know if it still is, haven't been there for years.
