This is a large plant and I have it come out every year. It seeds itself so I have to be careful not to have more. I found it to be an attractive plant.

Nice Klahanie. I planted seeds too Homebird. I had a few germinate and planted them out in summer. The best has grown to about eighteen inches although it has a flower head. Disappointing when along the road from me on the verges, it grows to about seven feet every year.

I have one like yours, Klahanie, & yes, it would seed everywhere if we didn't cut it down when the flowers are finished. I do like the airy feathery foliage.

I do not use it in cooking. But like it as a plant too Green_finger. It comes out reliably every year.

They're beautiful plants. They do grow very large, though. I've seen them almost 10' (3m) tall here in California.

I just cut off he seed heads today. I do not want it to spread around. I love this one plant but that is it. I like the airy look of it. I've already noticed couple of seedlings from last year. Mine is not quite 10' yet Delonix1 .

Yes, I know what you're saying, they actually grow as weeds here in California.

Interesting Homebird. I have dozens of seedlings every year. I only want that one plant. It grows in middle of the rhubarb patch. I am sure I did not plant it there so mystery is how it got there. Its there now for many years .....long enough for me to forget.
