Christmas choir

Christmas choir

I am having fun with digging out our Christmas decorations which I have not seen for more than a decade as we usually spend our winters "south" .

Glad to see that at least one little angel knows how to open her mouth when she sings, bless! They are so pretty.

Thank you Stera:-)
Maybe she is the main singer and the others are just accompanying singers . Harmonic support for the melody.......la,la,la. They are cute.

The shy one in the back needs to get her act together :)

Maybe she's waiting to come in with the descant a bit later...

They certainly make us smile :))

LOL. The shy one in the back is a black singer, Bathgate and so is the "shortie" in the front on the left. They should know their "stuff".
We went to see a real Christmas choir this afternoon which my neighbour participates in. So much artistic talent in this valley. It is the same Choir as the one in the promotional video at my GOY profile.

The descant is an art Sterra and I know she is capable of that. Just look at her. Don't you think???

What I think is that they need a better hairdresser.

Thanks for the smile Sheila.

Wonderful video Klahanie . . . there is something magical about making music outdoors in beautiful natural surroundings.

We must have driven through the area many years ago, heading to Tofino from Victoria. My abiding memory is staying in a little wooden house on a vast beach where the 'driftwood' was tree trunks!

You did have to drive through our area if you went to Tofino Sheila.
Oh yes, we cannot bring the tree trunk driftwood home for our gardens :-) I have been to Tofino only ones during the time we live here. Beautiful wilderness ....but not to stay for long . It is quite cold open ocean up there. I have a great respect for the power of the open ocean. It scares me. I could not be a sailor.
I am pleased that you have some nice memories of visiting this Island, Sheila. It is beautiful in summer time. I am not sure about today though. Still lots of snow. It was going to melt but it is only 3 degrees so it will take longer than predicted. I hope that we will be able to go south again next winter.

Yes, you must be missing Mexico, Klahanie - I hope you will be able to get there next winter too.

I don't think I'll ever forget your island, it's so beautiful :)

No Mexico this year Klahanie?

13 Dec, 2016

Not at this point Bathgate. Some medical issues have to be resolved first. Maybe later for a shorter time but next winter for sure. Way too cold up here for me at this time of the year.

I hope you get to go soon. Soups and hot chocolate in the meantime.
