Red pepper (Capsicum baccatum)

This is my first incursion on pepper field of gardening. Took a few peppers, let it dry and spread the seeds on rich soil...it is slow growing.

Hope you get a good crop!

I grew some on the allotment & managed to get a crop - though it wasn't nearly as much as I would have expected for the number of plants I put out!

They need a longer season of warmth than we usually get in the UK.

Hope you manage to get some decent peppers!

They look great! I have one pepper that turns into a small tree and lives for 7 years or so. It grows fast and produces many more peppers than I'll ever eat.

Are you going to plant them at your new house?
