Dove nest building in the Wisteria

Ahhhh! Bless it.

This is one of a pair Stera , Pinky & Perky they are so tame they screech and shout at me in the garden I carry sunflower seeds in my pocket to give them ...

So much daintier than the wood pigeons, which have replaced the pair of collared Doves, which used to live in my garden.

Hope they are successful Amy. We have the collared doves here and they are lovely. Wood pigeons try and rule the roost here, but the starlings are in such quantity that they eventually go away. The blue tits have flown from our box with their babies. We didn't see them go but they had at least three youngsters.

This is fab.... too many Wood Pigeons these days, driving away the lovely Collared Doves.

I have a few visiting my garden most days but one always chases the other away and does hop at the same time I think a male showing off to the female but she carried on eating the mixed wild bird seed instead

This pair are so friendly they already have one youngster ,I've been watching them teach it to feed for some time at the bird table and how to scrounge extra sunflower seeds from me , I've noticed them pushing it further away to fend for its self I expect they're getting ready to replace it with a second batch in the nest ... Lol Gg food comes first :o)
