It's really lovely to see the bright orange/yellow of the Crocuses joining the Snowdrops!

Just today I noticed that in a lot of gardens there are Snowdrops open or in bud as well as some Crocuses! A sure sign spring is just a short way off! ?

I have purple ones too just opening, but the yellow ones really brighten things up don’t they Balcony.

I think Spring has arrived at your house! A very pretty sight.

Cinders, when I see the first Crocuses on the verges it really makes my heart sing! Especially the yellow ones!

I’ve not grown pots of crocus either Janey. Its a great idea. I will do this next year!

Thank you wild rose, I have lots of snowdrops out now, in little clumps, also the light mauve crocus are starting to show, so we are on the way.....Karen I agree, nature is wonderful.

I've been growing Crocuses in pots for at 40 or more years! The same with almost all other bulbs, the only ones you can't grow in pots is the massive tall Lilies - at least unless you have a mighty big pot - & balcony! ???

Cool my crocuses are coming up too :)

30th March and my snowdrops are just going over. My crocuses are in full bloom at last! What a year it has been! This all started last May didn't it, with that late frost. And its been awful since then here. We had more snow today but it couldn't lie as there had been terrific rainfall already.

What a cheery sight, makes my heart glad.....

Yes, I love the yellow ones, so cheerful...

My crocuses on the balcony are starting to go over now & I have very few white or yellow or cream ones left for this spring but the blue ones having started later are also going on a bit longer as well! ?

This photo was taken in January Balcony, they have been over for some time, but the blue ones are out now.
