A narcissi already!

Dawn its the sunny South! we have had one out for about three weeks in the sunny sheltered part of the garden..just one on its todd, looks so out of place! ......our snowdrops are just about out, weeks late this year.

Only two of this variety of Daff, Tête à Tête still to come into flower.

Now it's gone really chilly, slow everything down a bit.

The sunny south, sigh. Now my snowdrops have been flowering for a couple of weeks.

Not so sunny today, it's pouring down and blowing a gale, but the Tommie Crocuses were open fully yesterday.

I need more tommies, some varieties are available in the green but I’ve not seen Tommies, I will have to wait for bulbs in autumn

Dawn, I've never seen any Crocuses bare, in the green, only ever in pots and you don't get many in a pot, and you would need a barrow load to fill your garden. The good side is tommasinianus grow well from dry corms, planted in Autumn.

I will get some in the autumn Siris, thanks. eBay have crocus in the green, £9.95 for a hundred, actively growing, but not Tommies.
I bought wood anemones his time in the green.

My wood anemones are not showing yet, another month maybe.

I haven’t any narcissus flowering yet, not even my early ones in the woodland. It is an exciting time of year.

A sunny day lulls them into growth, then wham a hard frost. A hail storm caught me out last May.
