Hibiscus - Bright Horizon sdlg

Hibiscus - Bright Horizon sdlg (Hibiscus)

This year I started several hibiscus from seeds. They can be highly variable, so you shouldn't expect carbon copies - just like daylilies. This is the first to give a flower. It is 5" across

Thanks! I thought I wouldn't get any flowers until next year, but this surprised me.

Gorgeous. Are these the tender ones, more suited to your warmer climes?

It is a combination of H. rosa sinensis x H. moscheutos. Since this is its first year, I am waiting to find out what it will do during the winter.
