Thanks! I thought I wouldn't get any flowers until next year, but this surprised me.

A wonderful surprise for you then. I ve had several some never flowered until I moved them to face south facing north not one flower they don't like shaded areas I found.

It is a combination of H. rosa sinensis x H. moscheutos. Since this is its first year, I am waiting to find out what it will do during the winter.
