Thank you for your comments. The Alyssum was cut hard back after its first bloom, ( the hot weather sends it to seed quickly), now it's really taking over. Other plants on the opposite side of the garden are also into a second flowering, lots of seedlings springing up too, don't always know what they are!

That is perfectly beautiful. Love the edging, one of my favorites. the design is sweet and like the tropical in the background!

Glad you like, Wells. I thought perhaps the Alyssum was a bit too much but at least it & the Petunias are going on & on. I'm wondering how much longer the Cordyline can stay in that pot. In spring I am thinking of cutting it out ( the pot's an odd shape) & potting on. If it doesn't survive I will just start again with another one.

I often nearly threw out a Cordyline, Feverfew, but planted them in the ground without high expectations and they went on growing for years! But the green ones do seem hardier than the red . . . good luck with yours.
