Thanks, guys. It is very rewarding. We talk about Pete a lot when we are working in the veg garden. Barbara remembers things he used to do and we are following his crop rotation.

There is still a lot more to crop. The runner beans, carrots and parsnips are good at the moment. We also have a bumper crop of cooking apples and delicious plumbs.

The paper bags have the different types of potatoes. The beans; broad, runner and Bellotti are in the freezer with the courgettes. We are onto plumbs and apples. The pears are still too hard. The strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries and tomatoes we ate and the currants are also in the freezer. The onions are still at Barbara's and the garlic is hanging in the shed.
We have planted more turnip, cauliflower, kale and beetroot as well as winter lettuce and spinach. The broccoli is beginning to appear and the parsnips are growing well.
That is our first growing year and it has been great!
