this Dahlia grows very profusely all over Vermont. It does
not mind being dry and some people use them as a bush.

I'm surprised that in Vermont you can keep Dahlias in the ground over the winter. Its a lovely colour and form. :)

Karen, we have to dig them up in the fall and keep them over the winter. For some reason, this variety is very easy.
You see them everywhere. We can't even give them away.
They also do not need water, the way other ones do.
