Thanks girls, there's so much colour now isn't there? I took Mum up,her garden this afternoon to see her Virginia creeper, so vivid and hanging over her firethorn, she was very happy to be able to make it out...

Yes, watercolour is my favourite medium, and I’m interested in trying botanical painting this winter . . . watch this space :)

Yes, mine too.. I follow Anna Mason art...she's a fine painter of plants, flowers and fruits, very detailed, almost botanical.... You may like to see her work and tutorials.

joined a group -- sketchbook.com Brooklyn Library museum is gathering sketchbooks from around the world and sending their selections around the world. Not all at once but a selection.If anyone interested, I can post the exact link.
