Me To Karen ,I can't believe how expensive plants are starting all over again , I think I brought more plants than possessions Hywel the removal co. wouldn't transport plants or garden pots / statues etc. we took them all over ourselves we were dreading the sale falling through so that we would have to bring them back again ..BTW the virginia creeper you kindly sent me came with us and is half way up the wall already Lol ..

I'm so glad that so many of the plants you brought from the Hollies have not only survived but are actually thriving!

I can't tell you how stressful the whole moving business has been Waddy I'm seriously glad that at least we have some of our favourite plants with us they're like old friends..

I'm pleased you still have the creeper Amy.
When I moved here it took a day to move the furniture and 5 days to bring all the plants !

I completely understand Amy. When we moved here almost 9 years ago the girl who bought our house persuaded us to leave lots of potted plants and garden plants saying they looked so nice and the garden wouldn't be the same if we took them, I fell soft and left loads. Since then we've been past several times and I could weep. The pots are so neglected most of the plants have died or blown over and smashed. The garden itself is overgrown and many beautiful plants have given up the struggle. If I'd know, I wouldn't have left a thing. Now we're in our last home I know whatever I put in the garden I will continue to see it grow and hopefully flourish. Richard says I think more of my garden than I do him...I'm not sure that's quite true!

I quite believe you Hywel the plants need so much care and attention when you move them ... Oh Waddy what a shame ,I must admit I daren't even think of going back to see my lovely old garden it would make me too sad to see it neglected ,we cant see it in passing we had to go down a long drive to reach it so would look obvious if we tried to be nosy ..... Lol Poor Richard ,Tony thinks he's my unpaid gardener doing all the hard jobs moving heavy things etc. that's how it's suppose to be isn't it ? Haha ...
