A cold day in The Solent...

I did the same on Sunday Dd ,its worth getting chilled for that lovely feeling afterwards when you walk into a cosy warm house and a cup of tea with a piece of cake ...

I always feel the opposite lol breathing in the cold air feels fresh from sitting in a heated stuffy house all day in cold weather .

It was almost too cold, the wind was biting, gave it a miss today, snowing like crazy, at the moment! forecast was spot on!!

We miss walking the beach DD. We used to live on the I.O.Wight.

Oh how smashing, some beautiful beaches there!

Yes DD and the sea could get very rough in the winter.

I do miss the sea, but I enjoy seeing it on TV, especially when it's bright blue in summer, then I can pretend I'm there ( from the comfort of the sofa).
