It's a lovely Dawn but minus 4.8 degrees

Very cold again here at Heathrow too but the sun's shining.

Just fed the ducks at our local River Gardens and it's now 5 degrees.

That's a lovely picture though, and serendipity that you were able to snapp the bird too.

It was a bitterly cold morning here with a hard frost. I have admit to missing the sunrise, still fast asleep. The sun did come out later and we had a beautiful day.

Hi Stera, the bird just popped up at the right moment. Living on a hill we can see some lovely sunrises and sunsets.
Hi Waddy, yes it's been so very cold, but it's raining this morning and I've just been outside to put some bird food down. It looks like we are going to have a warmer week.

I hope so, I hate the winter weather. I think I was dormouse or something in a past life. I could quite happily hibernate through the winter!

I have to wrap up well when I go out in the colder weather.
A dormouse Waddy. A very long time ago when we lived on the I.O.Wight, we found a dormouse living near to where we kept a roller, and he got quite upset if he was disturbed.

Oh how wonderful Linda. Too many cats visit my garden for anything like a dormouse, or even a common field mouse.

Where we live now we occasionally get a woodmouse in our shed. When we lived down the road there were a lot of stone walls so we got woodmice, and voles.
