Thanks for your kind comment Paul. It takes about 5 - 6 hours to complete a painting as it's putting one coat on top of another with the watercolours, and then the fine detail at the finish.

Lovely to keep the old traditions of knitting and crocheting going Thrupennybit and you can make some lovely designs and different items. I used to do a bit of knitting and crocheting at one time. I even crocheted myself a mini dress in the early seventies.

Snap Lin, I’ve been painting again too. You’re very good . . . will you be using this in one of your books?
I was going to add my latest attempts to show you, then remembered I did just that a while ago (Project for fund-raiser if you’d like a peep)!

Yes it is Lindak to keep old traditions going my mum who was Welsh taught both when I was young. The crochet mini skirt brings back memories 😊 now they cost a fortune to buy or any thing that's crochet.

No Sheila, I shall give this to a good cause. I give all my paintings to help other causes. I'll have a look at your painting.
Thrupennybit, did your mum ever do any weaving or learn how to spin her own wool?

Thanks DD. I am working on another children's poetry booklet to give away free in the community. I just enjoy what I do and am glad that the children enjoy reading them.

Yes, you've really captured the spirit of these guys. They actually look alive. Well done.
