I love your lupins, Hywel! I cannot keep them - they get eaten down to stalks before they flower. I try every few years. I bought one this year - the young leaves were eaten overnight, then the plant rallied and produced two spikes - hurrah! - but there is little of the plant left now. Fortunately, I know which plants survive in the garden, and stick with those! I like the sundial.
