Water droplets on flowers always seem to give them a better appearance! This Gladiolus is lovely, too! :)

Thank you. This purlple one is amazing. When the flowers started to show up I thought they were black, but it came out with this surprisingly color. The seeds are huge. Right now learning how to reproduce it from seeds.

I can't say I agree with you in that respect, as I often wake around 3am & then I find it difficult to sleep again & when I do get back to sleep I wake up quite often before going back to sleep again. It can be 20 & 30 minutes sleep with a waking period sometimes the same but other times just a couple of minutes - or hours! :(

In a few months time I will start my 7th decade!

My dear friend,
Sometimes I wake, around 3, or 4, sometimes 2:30 and yes is difficult to sleep again. Too many thoughts, result of a long busy worker life, with too many responsabilities and troubled moments. It all come to my mind. But I try to rest, and calm down to sleep again, If don't suceed, I watch a movie, work on computer, have a snack with a cup of tea and enjoy this lovely silent place were I live now.
The wind on trees, some frogs chatting, an early rooster.
One year and half to the 7th decade myself ... yayyyyy

That would make you about the same age as my wife! :)
