9 ft tall with no signs of winter damage , it hasn't stopped growing it has 5 new side stems plus new shoots at the top..

Jeez..must be the mild weather I guess. Fingers crossed for the next couple of months. Looks quite exotic.

Obviously very happy where it is Amy.......I hope ours doesn’t get that big tbt...... we haven’t given it that much space.!

Thank you all , 3p frost isn't good for it -0 temp is about as much as it will happily take ,but it will survive in a sheltered area this one is mulched at its base to protect its roots , apparently I should cut it down to allow the new shoots to grow in the spring but I can't do that while it looks so healthy ,I'll see how it goes ... Sandra the average is about 6 ft tall according to Google ,this is a monster .
